NOONU ATOLL RESORTS COLLECTION
Noonu Atoll, or geographically recognized as Miladhunmadulu Dhekunuburi is one of the 19 Administrative Divisions of the Maldives, with the Atoll letter code: N. Following the separation of the entire Miladhunmadulu Atoll into two different sections according to their directions (North & South), the Southern area of Miladhunmadulu was named Noonu Atoll.
Lying 110 miles north of the Capital City; Male’, Southern Miladhunmadulu or Noonu Atoll is made up of 71 islands, out of which 13 are inhabited by the locals of Maldives with the central island being Manadhoo. Currently, there are 3 tourist resorts operating in Noonu Atoll; Zitahli Resort & Spa Kuda-Funafaru, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives, and Cheval Blanc Randheli. The famous channel known as ‘Baraveli Kandu’ is situated to the west of Southern Miladhunmadulu, whilst there are a few popular dive spots in the Atoll as well. The two notable dive sites are; Orimas Thilaat, and Christmas Tree Rock, which can be accessible on a live aboard or by a boat from one of the nearby islands.
